Tamara Ivaniš
soprano

Dr. Daniel Floyd / Red. DAS OPERNMAGAZIN

As Tamiri, the daughter of the King of Sidon who Alessandro has deposed, Tamara Ivaniš portrayed enormous love for Agenore and then immeasurable dejection when she learns that Alessandro wants to marry her off to Aminta instead. During the aria in which Tamiri reproaches Agenore for his false accusations of infidelity (No. 11 "Se tu di me fai dono"), Ivaniš used her strong, sweet voice to express sadness and anger."
